Boy in Doorway

My Approach

I am a private provider of psychological assessments and interventions based in a South London clinic.

Clinical Psychologists undergo extensive training to support people with a variety of difficulties.

Clinical Psychologists aim to reduce psychological distress and improve overall wellbeing.  I feel as a psychologist it is important for us to develop a shared understanding of distress.  So I focus heavily on building a good therapeutic relationship with each child, young person and client I see.

Over the years I have seen a significant increase in the amount of stressors and strains that young people face on a day to day basis.  Unfortunately, children's mental health services are very stretched and families often cannot access the help they need in a timely manner.

Though I draw on the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidance and wider evidence base, I work creatively with clients to create a bespoke service to meet their needs whilst maintaining the highest of professional standards.

I work in an integrative way; drawing on ideas from a range of psychological models including

The benefits of online therapy is if you live far from my clinic base, life feels too hectic to travel to an appointment or you struggle to get out of the house you can still access the support you need.  It is secure and  easy to set up on Skype and VSee.
